I've created a GPX file with all cycleroute junction in NL. These
waypoints have a <name> tag in the GPX file which in this case is a number.
When I display these in Osmand I see all these waypoints but these are
rendered with a Favorite symbol (a star) without the name tag visible.See
Loading Image... Would it be possible
to create a smaller symbol (a dot?) and also showing the name tag?
HI PeeWee, did you find a way to display the name of your waypoints? I
struggle with the same problem..., also an option to adjust text size would
be nice...
thanks Chris

Late in the game here, but if the waypoint gpx has a name tag like below
and then in OSMAnd you go to Configure Map and check Point labels, the name
will appear on the map.
<wpt lat="45.471533" lon="-105.938983">
<name>Name of Waypoint</name>
<sym>Flag, Blue</sym>
</wpt>
