Can I retrieve attribute data passed from SHP to custom OBF files with OsmAnd?

Could I retrieve attribute data passed from SHP files to custom OBF files
in the DESCRIPTION window when I hit the "name" of a polygon?
How?

I am afraid not. I could never make it work. I think the "description"
tag is not supported for polygons in OsmAnd.

I don't think you can, at least I was never able to make it work. Normally
you would just need to add a "description" tag in your osm file and it
would show in the description section but it looks like OsmAnd does not
support it for polygons and lines. I was only ever able to do it for
points like in the attached image.

In fact I'like to see a list of the custom atttribute data which I can read
from my OSM file with JOSM.
